3rd Annual Mission Cataract Day a Success! -
On Monday, September 8, 2014, Dr. Carol Johnston and Dr. Heath Ergas (eye surgeons) and the staff at Office Park Eye Center along with the surgical staff at SurgiCare of Jacksonville, participated in their 3rd annual Mission Cataract Day. Their participation in this "people helping people" event restored vision for ten individuals whose vision was affected by cataracts. These individuals had no health insurance and no means to pay for surgery.

Office Park Eye Center is currently the only Mission Cataract USA participant in the state of North Carolina. We would like to encourage more surgeons nationwide participate. Just imagine what kind of impact we could make if more offices participate.
