After one of the most grueling winters in Minnesota history (and around the country!), we are happy to say that spring is finally here! Our headquarters experienced multiple closures and late starts in the past few months and we hope you weren't inconvenienced too much.

Spring is typically a time related to spring cleaning and "sprucing up" and we are doing just that in a number of areas. EyeLights is debuting this month with a whole new design and one that we hope you'll find inviting and easy to navigate. And, in an effort to minimize the amount of emails you receive, while maximizing the amount of information you need from us, EyeLights will now be published three times a year instead of four.

We are also undergoing major renovation to our online learning website and finalizing the "Marketplace," an online store where you will be able to purchase books, educational products, ATPO memberships, and make donations to the JCAHPO Education & Research Foundation.

We know that continuous learning is critical to achieving your full potential in today's health care environment. Health care is advancing rapidly and participating in continuing education (CE) will help you improve patient care and increase your physician's productivity. We offer many options through regional CE programs, the Annual Meeting, weekly webinars, and online learning any time of the day or night. Be sure to read the "Tech Life" article in this issue. You'll meet Jessica Barr who is a great example of how continuous learning and a commitment to your career work can pay off in a big way.

Finally, I am pleased to announce that the Contact Lens Society of America (CLSA) has selected JCAHPO and the Center for Organizational Management (CFOM) as their new management provider. CLSA will be celebrating 60 years of excellence in the contact lens industry next year and we are honored that they have chosen CFOM as their new management team.
