ATPO members attend the Scientific Session in Chicago. Dr. Andrew Lam, Author of "Saving Sight: The Heroes Who Changed the Way We See" and ATPO Scientific Session Keynote Speaker, and President Michelle Kaminski, COT.

ATPO's Scientific Session & Grand Rounds program in Chicago was truly an exceptional meeting. There were so many wonderful comments expressed regarding the speakers, the Jeopardy session, the social hour, and many other features that ATPO provides as a part of the annual meeting each fall. Keynote speaker Andrew Lam, MD, spoke on the subject of his book "Saving Sight," an eye surgeon's life look at life behind the mask and the heroes who changed the way we see. All attendees received a copy of Dr. Lam's book. Who Wants to Be A SuperTech?

This year, the format was changed to a Jeopardy-style game, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed as there was a great deal of laughter along with the learning. Again, Mona Carpenter, BS, COMT and Karen Susco, COMT did an outstanding job in creating and emceeing the annual game show.

We also want to thank the Super Tech judges, Kenneth E. Woodworth, Jr., COMT, COE, FASOA; Rhonda Waldron, COMT, MMSCc, CRA, ROUB, CDOS; and, Richard Allen, MD, PhD, who all lent their insight and expertise, as well as wit and humor.
